Slippery elm bark is used to treat digestive problems in dogs and cats. The mucilage from the elm bark is rich in a number of nutrients important for health, such as: beta-sitosterol, campesterol, tannins, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, zinc, beta-carotene, and vitamins B1, B2, B3, and C. Thanks to these properties, slipper elm bark is useful in the home medicine cabinet when our pet suffers from a sensitive digestive system, struggles with recurring diarrhea or vomiting, or is currently recovering from digestive system diseases or procedures.

Dosage/24 hours
Cats and dogs (under 5 kg body weight): 1 measuring spoon
Dogs: 5-20 kg body weight: 2 measuring spoons
20-30 kg body weight: 3 measuring spoons
30+ kg body weight: 4 measuring spoons
The spoon is included in the packaging. One flat measuring spoon contains approximately 1 g of product.
Directions for use: pour 10-15 ml of the appropriate amount of product with warm water, leave covered for 20-30 minutes. Apply the thickened, cooled suspension directly into the mouth or into a bowl with a pipette.
WARNING! When taking medications, keep an interval of at least 60 minutes.
Please remember that slippery elm bark can interfere with the absorption of nutrients from the gastrointestinal tract, so it is recommended to observe a time interval when serving food. We do not give this supplement with food or moments before a planned meal. It is best to use slippery elm bark approximately 30-60 minutes after a meal.
